How do I get started?
Simple! Just click “Book Now” to set up your account in Time To Pet and schedule a New Client Consultation ($20) or contact us. The consultation allows us to meet you and your pets, learn about their routines, and go over the services that best fit your needs.
What areas do you service?
We currently service Chesterfield County and Henrico County. Reach out to confirm if we serve your address or see our service map on our homepage!
Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
Yes! Walk This Way Pet Care is fully licensed, insured and bonded for your peace of mind. Your pets and your home are always protected when we’re on the job.
What kinds of pets do you care for?
We love them all! Dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, and more. Whether it’s daily dog walks, litter box cleaning, or even bearded dragon care — we’ve got you covered.
How does scheduling work?
We use Time To Pet, an easy-to-use client portal and mobile app. You can schedule, update, or cancel services directly online. You’ll also get real-time visit updates, notes, and photos of your pets.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! We currently offer:
- Weekly Discount: Book 3 or more visits in the same week and get a reduced rate.
- Packages: Pre-pay for 3, 5, 10, or 20 visits at a discounted price.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
No problem! We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid charges. For holidays or overnight bookings, please provide as much notice as possible.
Do you charge extra for additional pets?
Yes, we add $6-$10 per additional pet per visit for dog walks and pet sitting. This helps us give each pet the attention they deserve.
What happens if my pet has an emergency?
Your pet’s safety is our #1 priority. If an emergency arises, we will contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we’ll take your pet to your preferred vet (or the nearest available) for care.
Do you offer overnight house sitting?
Yes! Overnight care is available for $150/night. This includes evening and morning pet care, overnight presence, and lots of snuggles to keep your pets comfortable while you’re away. Additional day time visits can be added.
Do you have a minimum number of visits per day?
Yes! If we’re your dog’s only care while you’re out of town, a minimum of 3 visits per day is required for their safety and well-being.
Do you offer pet photography?
One of our Preferred Partners is Beloved Pets & Equine Photography. They offer high-quality outdoor pet photos. Please note: Photos and videos are already included in your pet report cards at the end of each service. These are fun updates to keep you connected to your pets, but they are not professionally done photography or videography.
