What services do you offer?
We offer a variety of pet care services including dog walking, pet
sitting (in-home and drop-in visits), overnight pet sitting, cat
sitting, puppy visits, and pet taxi services. Each service is tailored
to meet your pet's specific needs and your schedule.
Do I need to schedule a meet & greet first?
Yes! We require a free meet & greet before starting any services. This
allows us to meet you and your pet, learn about their personality and
needs, and ensure we're the right fit for your family. It also gives
you a chance to ask any questions and see how we interact with your
pet.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Chesterfield, Henrico, and Powhatan Counties, as well
as the City of Richmond. If you're not sure if we cover your area,
please reach out and we'll let you know!
How do I book a service?
Booking is easy! Simply fill out the contact form on our website or
give us a call. We'll schedule a free meet & greet, and once that's
complete, we can set up your first service. We recommend booking
recurring services in advance to ensure availability.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that plans change. We ask for at least 24 hours notice
for cancellations to receive a full refund. Cancellations with less
than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Contact us
as soon as possible if you need to reschedule, and we'll do our best
to accommodate you.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes! Walk This Way Pet Care is fully insured and bonded. This protects
both you and your pets in the unlikely event of an incident. We take
the trust you place in us very seriously.
Can you administer medications to my pet?
Yes, we can administer oral medications and some topical treatments.
Please let us know during the meet & greet about any medications or
special care your pet requires. We want to ensure your pet receives
the same level of care they would get from you.
What if there's an emergency with my pet?
In the event of an emergency, we will immediately contact you and seek
veterinary care if needed. We require emergency contact information
and veterinary details during the meet & greet so we're prepared. Your
pet's safety and well-being are our top priority.
Do you offer discounts for multiple pets or recurring services?
Yes! We offer special pricing for families with multiple pets and for
clients who book recurring services. Reach out for a custom quote, and
we'll work with you to find a plan that fits your needs and budget.
How will I know how my pet is doing during a visit?
We believe in transparent communication! During each visit, we'll send
you photo updates and a detailed report so you can see exactly how
your furry family member is doing. You'll have peace of mind knowing
your pet is happy and well-cared for, even when you can't be there.
